One of Canada’s largest installation/assembly companies acquires national assembly competitor to continue to fuel its rapid growth.
QuickContractors.com Inc. (“QuickContractors”) announced today that it has acquired Cycle Profix Inc. (“Profix”) a Montreal-based National retail service provider specializing in in-store assembly, including bicycles, seasonal products and exercise equipment. Founded in 1996 in Montreal, Quebec, Profix grew from supporting local stores in the greater Montreal area to offering services to several national big-box retailers across Canada completing millions in annual revenues.
Following the acquisition Quick Contractors immediately expanded the Montreal based team which now operates in parallel with the home office in Guelph. This synchronicity has allowed both the residential and in-store services to benefit from a larger and more specialized staff. Craig Robinson, Profix co-founder, turned Director of Commercial Operations at Quickcontractors, is looking to the future. “The unification of our two company groups will allow us to fully leverage our collective industry expertise, service networks and IT capabilities” said Robinson. The transaction which was finalized in December, 2017 gives our collective clients immediate access to the expanded network between both organizations and many new service offerings.
